Electrical Engineering Student
Luke Littig
|
First-year Electrical Engineering student at UW-Madison with a passion for building circuits, tinkering with hardware, and turning complex problems into elegant solutions.
About Me
I'm a first-year Electrical Engineering student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I'm diving deep into the world of circuits, signals, and systems.
When I'm not studying, you'll find me at my local gym, volunteering, debugging circuits with my oscilloscope, or reading a good book. Right now I'm reading Think by Simon Blackburn. There's something incredibly satisfying about watching a circuit come to life for the first time.
I believe that the best engineers are those who get their hands dirty and that experience is the best teacher. Every burnt finger from a soldering iron and every late night debugging a circuit teaches one more than any textbook can.

Projects
Featured Project
Custom Power Supply Unit
Designed and built a variable voltage bench power supply with adjustable current limiting. Features include digital display, multiple output rails, and overvoltage protection. Built from scratch using discrete components and op-amps.
Highlights
- 0-30V Output
- 0-3A Current
- Built from scratch
Featured Project
LC-3 Assembly Projects
Collection of programs written in LC-3 assembly language as part of my Computer Engineering coursework. Includes implementations of sorting algorithms, string manipulation, and I/O routines demonstrating low-level programming concepts.
Highlights
- Sorting Algorithms
- Memory Management
- I/O Routines
Featured Project
Arduino Sensor Dashboard
Created an environmental monitoring system using Arduino and various sensors. Collects temperature, humidity, and light data, displaying it on an LCD and logging to SD card for analysis. Great learning project for embedded systems.
Highlights
- Real-time Display
- Data Logging
- Multiple Sensors
